Our client, located near the airport, is looking for a Design / Mechanical Engineer. The schedule is Monday-Friday.

OVERVIEW:

The Design Engineer will supervise all technical aspects of an Engineering project. The supervision for the Design Engineer will include original design of product through completion and release.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* The Design Engineer will assist in the design of custom products.
* Perform CAE protocols for product design using Inventor.
* Coordinate with test technicians to perform design integrity.
* Address manufacturing efficiencies with Production and Quality personnel.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN / MECHANICAL ENGINEER:

* The Design Engineer must have a 4 year degree from an accredited college or university. Prefer degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* The ideal Design Engineer will have at least 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Must have excellent interpersonal skills as will be interacting with engineering team in an open environment.
* The Design / Mechanical Engineer will have experience speaking directly with clients.
* Our ideal candidate will have ability to work multiple engineering assignments at same time.
* The Design Engineer will have excellent organizational skills.
* Must be proficient with MS Software.
