Job Description
Maintenance Technician- Washington, PA
Daylight $22-$25ph+ depending on experience
The maintenance tech is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial equipment and machinery, as well as having basic DC electrical knowledge, fabricating knowledge, and using machine shop tools.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Assist with installing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and reassembling
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Adjusting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and service systems
- Tearing down, replacing, or repairing worn/defective parts
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Keep machine repair logs, equipment files, and part lists up to date
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Must have Industrial Maintenance- minimum 3 years experience
- Machine and Building Maintenance
- Electrical & Plumbing knowledge
- Knowledge of fabricating, using machine shop tools
- Ability to read blueprints, and schematics
- Experience repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
