Our client located north of Pittsburgh (Cranberry Area) is in need of finding an ORDER PICKER/SELECTOR.

IMMEDIATE NEED! PAY IS 18/HR FOR THE ORDER PICKER/SELECTOR

HOURS 530pm-2am. OPPORTUNITY TO GO DIRECT AFTER 3 MONTHS.

Essential Functions of the ORDER PICKER/SELECTOR:

* Select customer orders from pick slots using printed pick lists of assorted items; build orders
in sequence provided by Router or Warehouse Manager.
* The order picker/selector will travel to multiple pick locations with pallet jack.
* Safely stack items on pallets according to paper list, placing heavier items near the
bottom.
* The order picker/selector will wrap palletized orders and deliver to designated staging area.
* Verify that products selected are accurate to order (both type and quantity), are of
sufficient quality, and are damage free, communicating any product damages or
quality concerns to the Warehouse Manager.

Working Conditions for the ORDER PICKER/SELECTOR:

* Primarily set in a refrigerated warehouse environment where temperatures are 35-45
degrees Fahrenheit with adequate lighting and occasional exposure to subzero conditions in
the freezer environment with adequate lighting, there is low level of noise that does not
require hearing protection, and exposure to moving equipment, such as forklifts.
* The order picker/selector will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in all environments to
include steel-toed shoes and a safety vest.
* Primarily standing work, exerting up to 50 lbs. Of force frequently, and/or up to negligible
amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects of various
shapes and sizes, including the human body.

WILL TRAIN IF NO EXPERIENCE

Expected Schedule

* Typically 5 days/week (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 5: 30 PM
2: 00 AM.

The order picker/selector shift end time is variable and work is completed when the last order is filled.
Possible overtime required with or without notice.
