Welder
Commercial Employees is looking for full-time tig welders at a manufacturer in Glenshaw, PA with a starting pay rate of $20 per hour plus benefits. The position is temporary with the intention to hire full-time after a brief introductory period.
Welder Requirements:
At least one year of experience in tig welding is preferred, but not required.
Must pass the tig welding test.
The ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings and job orders is preferred, but not required.
The ability to operate precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, protractors and tape measurers is preferred, not required.
Must have basic computers skills.
Must be able to stand for at least five to eight hours per day and occasionally lift, at least, 70 pounds.
Should be able to work overtime when needed.
Welder Duties:
Produce quality and accurate welds according to blueprints.
Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
Change wire/welding as needed.
Ensure that all equipment is properly set up and used in a safe manner.
Must be able to perform first piece inspections required by RMF standards.
Should be experienced enough to perform simple maintenance and repairs.
Welder Pay and Benefits:
Starting pay rate of $20 per hour.
Set hours of 5: 00 am 3: 30 pm or 3: 00 pm 1: 30 am with overtime available.
